Mark Stoddard is a professional engineer with over 25 years experience in a range of disciplines including aeronautical, mechanical, structural and civil.
After graduating from Sydney University with an Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering he worked at the Aeronautical Research Laboratory in South Australia and then with aircraft manufacturer Hawker de Havilland at Bankstown testing advanced composites for the MD Explorer helicopter program. Following this he was part of the team at Thomson Marconi Sonar / Thales which developed a revolutionary solid seismic towed cable used in the oil and gas exploration industry.
Over the past 16 years though he has been an engineering consultant in building industry primarily working on structural and civil engineering projects. He has completed the structural design of numerous residential and commercial buildings. This has included design and analysis of many building elements such as foundations, reinforced concrete slabs, timber framing and structural steel framing. He has also designed civil infrastructure such as roads, bridges and stormwater systems.
Sue Stoddard

Sue Stoddard is a qualified chemical engineer with 9 years experience as an experimental scientist with the CSIRO.
Over the past 15 years she has provided Stoddard Engineering with an efficient civil and structural drafting service. She is proficient in design and drafting utilising Autodesk Autocad and Civil 3D. She has completed numerous structural drawings for residential and commercial applications. She has also produced earthworks and civil models for large commercial projects which have included roads, dams, stormwater pit and pipe networks and other civil and structural elements.

Austin Legler is a professional engineer with over 36 years experience as a engineer, specialising in a range of civil engineering disciplines.
Austin graduated from Utah University in the United States of America, and undertook post graduate studies there in civil and environmental engineering. He began work with Sitex Environmental as a Civil Engineer, then moved to Terracon Companies, Crescent Environmental Consulting LLC and Granite Environmental Inc., as a Senior Project Engineer.
After moving to Australia, Austin spent 13 years as a partner with Tasman Engineering Consultants and then established his own company, A.F. Legler & Associates, before joining Stoddard Engineering.
Austin specialises in stormwater hydrology, water and sewer system engineering, geotechnical and structural engineering, environmental assessment and assessment / remediation of leaking underground petroleum storage tank sites.
Julie Burke

Julie Burke has extensive experience as a program manager in government and private sector.
Julie has worked for over 30 years in all levels of government and for over 20 years as a program manager. She has delivered large, complex programs of projects primarily in the water and catchment management and natural resources sectors. Since 2019 she has worked with Stoddard Engineering, providing research, client liaison and report writing.
